Happy Easter

It's been a few weeks since I've posted something new, but here is a recap. I started posting last week, but with the storm my blog seemed to be messing up so I blame the weather.  Everything has been pretty crazy between working and school work. Chad was on Week of Evangelism this past week. He went out to Little Galilee for the week and absolutely loved it. He and a group of 11 other students went out and worked for a week preparing everything for camp. They cleaned the new and old cabins, washed bunks, and mopped floors. A great week of work and fellowship with other students. He also had a fun experience in the lake. Yes he went canoeing and ended up tipping the canoe, lost his glasses but his phone works now. Now we say that there is a lake monster and he can see so much better to come out and get the campers. I guess the lake monster was blind until Chad's glasses. hahah what a story they've started. Look out Campers this summer.
Today as it is Easter has been a busy day. Our morning started out early getting ready for church. The youth kids at Jeff st were serving breakfast, so we were there helping out with that.

Then it was off to LCU chapel for worship with Lincoln Christian Church. It was so packed we were up on the balcony! Worship was amazing followed by a great message.

After Church we met up with Chad's dad and granny, I made them take a group picture. I thought we needed an updated photo since it has been since the wedding. I know I want so many photos. I love looking back and see the change between holidays and the years.

Chad's PE Class is biking 24miles and I'll be joining him. I've road 10 with my brother yesterday to Clinton Lake and back, and Chad and I road some today. I hope the weather stays nice so we can get out daily ridding, so this week doesn't come to much as a shock. We've biked about 30 on a stationary bike but it is really different when you have the wind and the hills and everything else. We're excited and yes pictures to come. Other than that Chad's back to school and he's almost done summer break is almost here for him! That's all from our house...until next week :)

Bring on Warm WEATHER!

Today's weather has been fantastic. We have highly enjoy having the apartment open and the breeze coming in! Unfortunately I've been battling a cold so I hope the weather stays one temperature I would eventually like to breath! This week Chad has been crazy busy with big projects in class. Monday he was able to meet up with his Spiritual formation group at Moncials to have a time of relaxation. I was able to have lunch this week with some amazing people. Amy and I hit up early this week, my mom and I, as well my long lost friend from high school Ellyn. Ohh yeah I got my hair cut by Nikki at Blades and highlighted! I love that place now!
It is so hard to believe that Chad will almost done with this semester. We are one step closer to internship. We've been checking out everything online where we are looking at to move and praying hard that God provides a home, job for myself, and great friends down there! So we ask that you please be in prayer with us as we are making the transition of moving into a new phase of our life. We are extremely excited and are ready to move on to the next Chapter to see what is in store for our ministry.
Friday I participated in the Run for your Life at LCU. Chad was not feeling well so he was not able to go with us. Amy J, Ellyn, Fred, and I all enjoyed participating in such a great cause. It was a fantastic turnout and beautiful weather!
Right before the Run!

Our Friend Jeff Chilln out with us before the race

Saturday was another bro sis date night. Seth and I went out and I took his 16yr old pics. They are 6 months late, but they turned out so good. I don't claim to be a great photographer, but I believe they turned out excellent. Now all I need is someone else to take pictures of next weekend! He was such a great sport, and we had beautiful weather to take photos!
What a Smirk!

This week holds a busy work schedule and Chad starts Week of E! He is working at Little Galilee with a group of LCU students. They are going to help prepare for all the camps coming out this summer. That's all from us...check back with us next week

Another Week flies by!

Where to even begin with this week, besides saying that it has been absolutely crazy! With end of the school year fast approaching Chad has been doing tons of big projects. He's been at school pretty late working and with our work schedules I don't think we've had much time together. It's hard to imagine that soon one day he won't be doing school work lol. We'll his countdown for summer has begun. I unfortunately, keep going all through the year with school, but I do have to say I enjoy it so I can't complain. Chad and I have also been working really hard to put everything together for the Y summer camp alot of our spare time has been going into that, it has been fun but tons of work. Were praying that this summer will be fantastic year for the Y camp.
This week where to begin, besides work and school and work and more school.....
I was able to go to the Taylorville Y with our Yzone kids for a field trip on their spring break. It was quite fun. Taylorville has an indoor water park. So we had a fantastic time....
Some of the Y crew!

Chad and his 5 year old Nieces!
Also we got to see Chad's beautiful nieces. They turned 5 on Sunday! It is hard to believe how big they are getting and that they will be in Kindergarten this summer.  Chad and I started dating when they were 1! They had a cowgirl themed party with an adorable cowgirl cake. We bought them for their birthday Planet Earth books - they are so colorful and will help them learn how to read. Along with some site word reading games. They are great gifts for them to help them begin to read.  We also were able to see Chad's dad who also had a birthday this past week. We set up his computer and had a great lunch out together.
Were really excited because

their bday cake!

Friday holds LCU's Run for your Life. We'll be out their participating to raise money for Japan relief fund, as well donating some running shoes and clothes for those in Haiti! Were excited to promote healthy living along with Japan and Haiti missions! (pictures to come)
