Happy Birthday CHAD!!!

I can not believe that it's my husband's 24th birthday today, his first birthday as a married man lol! We'll I have to say it is crazy looking back on all the other birthdays I have spent with him its 4 total! 4 Years and we'll be going on 5 years together in Oct! Crazy how time just flies, it seems like yesterday we were set up on a blind date, thanks to our friends, and we have been together ever since. 

Since his birthday was today I decided to have an open house for him this past Sunday for the family. Everyone showed up and we had a great time, thanks for all that came out. It is crazy this will be the last year we are around the area for everyone to come together! Like usual I did decorate a cake for him. I did a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle cake, with the use of my grandmothers cake decorating stuff as well as my own. She taught me years ago and Chad's the only one I usual take the time to decorate for, I do enjoy doing it! For his birthday of course you all know he has a new bike that he LOVES, and on top of that he bought himself his own little coffee maker thing that he has been wanting! All in all he had a fantastic birthday! Since today was his actually birthday we spent most of the day together until he had to go to work. We both had the day pretty much off so we had a great time spending time together. We enjoyed the day with a 7 mile bike ride, as well as some left over pizza and just hanging out together without worrying about work...it was a great day HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHADZO love you!

Other than that nothing new is going on, with this heat wave we will not be able to get outside much for biking so we'll have to make due inside. We're meeting up with some friends for Sunday evening dinner and Saturday will be helping my mom and step dad work on picking the garden and canning! A Fun relaxing weekend!!! And my brother got a new CAR!!! I'm so excited for him tonight we went cruising in his new car, 2 mile walk, and watched BIG and ate popcorn!!

July....Already?????

I can not believe how fast the summer has been flying by, it was June now July? The 4th is already passed us....where does the time go? Not that I am complaining, in a way I'm ready for August! IT means our 1 year anniversary, 5 months closer to our week long vacation, work should go to a almost normal schedule and I should hopefully have a few days with Chad more often than now. It seems like since summer has started we have constantly been on the go... stress has definitely overwhelmed us. I am so ready for things to slow down, but I hear they never will haha. Just to recap on the past few weeks, we have been between work and watching our little guys this summer there hasn't been much spare time, we try to keep Tuesday's our day as much as possible. Last Sunday we went to Eastview Christian Church with the Jefferson St Youth kids, to observe their youth service it was awesome! Makes me so excited for Chad's upcoming internship. We are patiently waiting for replay of Chads prospect internships, it has been a wait game. We really can't move forward till we have final conformation about where we are heading. Once we receive conformation I'll be looking at different prospective job offers. I am hopefully going to be going in with Fellowship of Christian Athletics or Campus Ministries. We're just praying for open doors at the right time. We ask that you pray along with us. I can not thank our support that we have already from the Koke side and my family...we appreciate the support and prayers.

Well this week we went to Peoria with my Dad and some of the family to a Peoria Chiefs Game. From there we were able to watch the fireworks display over the riverfront. It was pretty cool. Now if anyone knows my dad you'll know that he is quite a character. He had us all wear M&M shirts as a theme...yes there was alot of pointing and laughing. But we had a good time and laughed alot!

Yesterday we took the Y kids, to my home church in Waynesville where they helped set up vacation bible school stuff. I was so excited to be going home to help my home church, Chad and I are going this Sunday to visit Church and personally thank them for allowing our kids to come and work alongside with them. As well Yesterday Chad picked out his early birthday present. Yes you all know we are big into biking now so we purchased him a really nice bike. Now he is already to go on long rides! I'm so excited for him his smile was from ear to ear...he said it is the best birthday present ever! Yeah I'm a pretty amazing wife lol!!!!!
